Feel Good English Podcast

The Feel Good English Podcast mimics Ted Talks with podcasts that are all about becoming fluent and confident in English without even trying. Each week the speaker talks about books on personal growth that are supposed to be life changing. He believes his podcasts will make allow the English language learners to grow naturally and also live an inspired life at the same time.

I did not particularly like this podcast. I thought it would not be very useful for someone learning the English language. It did not touch on any important topics, such as conversational or grammatical English. The speaker also did not speak very clearly, and rushed his words which would be hard for an ELL to keep up with. I would not recommend this podcast.

ESL POD Podcast Review

The first podcast I listened to was ESL Pod. The voice was very clear, and easy to understand. The man spoke very evenly, slowly, and pronounced his words very profoundly. He started the podcast talking about a movie using harder vocabulary. As he used hard words, or phrases that are not well known, or idioms he stopped and explained or defines each word or phrase. He even at some points, spells some words that are longer. I think his explanations would be extremely helpful for someone learning the English language.

There are over 1,800 podcasts in this series ranging from different topics from vocabulary to how to shop at the grocery store. There is podcasts on daily conversation, and more in depth grammar topics. The length of his podcasts are also very manageable at 30-40 minutes long. I thought this series of podcasts were excellent!
